For the purposes of this Policy, Personal Information means any information supplied voluntarily by you that could be used to identify you. CADDRA’s use of Personal Information is limited to the purpose of fulfilling its mandate, or a purpose consistent with that purpose. It is CADDRA’s policy NOT to share, give, rent or sell any information that personally identifies you, to any organization or individual without your consent.
Your personal information in our files may include:
- Mailing address
- Email address
- Telephone and/or fax number
- Your discipline (psychiatrist, physician, psychologist etc.) & possible affiliations with other organizations.
CADDRA accepts online credit card payments for donations, membership renewals, and purchases from our online store. Your credit card information is not entered into the CADDRA database, but is redirected instead, to a secure site for processing. Once the transaction is complete, your credit card information is deleted from the database. Personal information that is collected during such transactions will not be made available to any other parties other than the secured site.
Personal Information Transmitted Via E-Mail
You may wish to send us a question or comment via e-mail, which may include personal information. CADDRA will only use the information we need to answer your question.
Disclosure of Information
Please note that there are circumstances when the use and/or disclosure of Personal Information may be justified or permitted or when CADDRA is obliged to disclose information without consent, such as:
- When required by law or by order or requirement of a court, administrative agency or other governmental tribunal.
- In the course of maintaining our systems and providing you with uninterrupted service, we may use service providers who may require access to systems which contain personal information. These service providers are bound to keep all personal information confidential. They do not retain any personal information.
When obliged or permitted to disclose information without consent, CADDRA will not disclose more information than is required.
As you navigate through a website, certain information can be gathered from you without you actively providing the information. Cookies are small text files that get entered into the memory of your web browser when you visit certain websites. They can be used to help personalize information for you and your preferences, help with online sales, or to collect demographic information.

Members Only Section
If you are a Member of CADDRA, you will have access to our online Members Only Section. Access is restricted to users with a valid user ID and password. You are requested not to divulge their user ID or password to anyone other than authorized CADDRA personnel, and only to permit them to serve you.
CADDRA Members were asked to provide their email addresses in the application process for the purpose of contacting Members with Newsletters and breaking news. Providing CADDRA with your email address at that time, indicates your consent for CADDRA to contact you via email.
