ADHD-Her: A Research Study on Girls and Women’s Experiences with ADHD

ADHD-Her: A Research Study on Girls and Women’s Experiences with ADHD Lindsay Nix February 25, 2026

A new research project from the Strengths in ADHD research lab at the University of Calgary is currently recruiting participants to help better understand the experiences and outcomes of girls and women with ADHD across different stages of life. This study aims to explore ADHD experiences, diagnosis, symptoms, social support, and mental and physical health from childhood/adolescence (age 10+) through post-menopause.

Participation in this project may contribute to important insights that can improve identification, awareness, support, and care for girls and women with ADHD. We are recruiting girls and women living in Canada who speak English or French and are aged 10 or older.  All interested participants will complete a brief online pre-screening survey to determine eligibility. After confirmation, they will receive access to the online questionnaire. Girls and women with, without, or with suspected but not diagnosed ADHD are welcome!

Please fill out this 2-minute pre-screener survey if you would like to participate. All participants will receive a $25 digital gift card to the retailer of their choice after completion!
